My fascination with capturing images started when I was around 6 years old. I used a very basic point & shoot…what you saw was what you got. Once in high school my passion grew and photography quickly became my favourite course & the best way to spend my free time. High school is where I learned the inner workings and controls of a camera; the pure artistic elements of taking a photograph.

After high school I attended Emily Carr College of Art and Design but ended up going into marketing where I could combine business with the creative element.

I did continue to develop my photographic interests in my free time by going into Family Portraiture and Wedding Photography. And now, I’m photographing what I truly want to capture; moments in time that shape our history, who we are, where we’ve been and what we’re a part of, simply capturing stories behind simple scenes in life.

My fascination has always been with architecture and most specifically doors. A door represents an entrance to something new and exciting with a story behind it just waiting to be told.
