Generation Green Awards - Application Form Live

If you are between the ages of 6 and 24, tell us about your green project idea for your Vancouver neighbourhood. Be sure to read our funding guidelines before you begin your application.

If you’d like to see the questions you will be asked between Steps 1 to 3, look here. But be sure to use the online form to submit your application.

  • To be eligible for a Generation Green Award, your project must take place in Vancouver.

  • A little more about you

    If you are 14 and under, then your parent or legal guardian must give their consent to your participation in the Generation Green Awards. If you are applying as part of your class or community group, your teacher or group leader can approve the application.

    What happens if you win?

    If your idea is chosen, you will be notified in mid-April. You will need to complete your project by early-October 2011 so that we can feature your work in Vancouver Foundation’s finale community event in the fall.

    If you win, we will also ask that you:

    • sign a Community Agreement with us which will outline how you will use the award money to make your green idea real
    • work under the guidance of a local organization who will help you along the way and provide the funds as needed
    • keep us up-to-date on the progress of your project
    • show us the project once it is completed, and
    • share your project (using photos or videos) at our finale community event.
